A business is not just there to run interesting projects, making customers, emplyees and owners happy. It should also be part of the community and do it's best toserve and contribute to it. This is important to us! It is important to show that our company can impact beyond owners and employees. We endeavour to do our best for the community in which we work.
Stockholm Gaels
With Irish roots prominent in our workforce, our love of sport has lead to us becoming the largest sponsor of the Stockholm Gaels, a gaelic games club based in Stockholm. The Gaels have players from Ireland, Sweden and beyond, all living in the Stockholm area.
We are proud to see our logo displayed prominently on all Gaels’ match shirts.
Sport and language in schools
Kennedy supports a school project connected to Gaelic sports, with several of our staff members taking part. The goal of the project is to spread Gaelic games to the younger generation and at the same time giving them the opportunity to engage in a fun and, for the Swedish, unusual sport. The classes are delivered in English giving the pupils an opportunity to further their language skills at the same time.
Members of Kennedy Automation staff, together with players from the Stockholm Gaels, visit schools in the Stockholm area and provide practical coaching in Gaelic games for school pupils. Pupils from one school in Stockholm took part in the Ambassador’s Cup in 2013, where prizes were presented by the Irish Ambassador to Sweden.
Spånga
Olympic Handball Club
To give children a chance to partake in sport is extremely important, both for their own development and that of the community.
Spånga’s sports clubs have a common sense approach to coaching children. Their goal to develop a broad and inclusive club rather than trying to coach exclusively elite sporting talent. Kennedy Automation is proud to contribute in this endeavour.
Missing People Sweden
Sometimes tragedy strikes and in cases where loved ones disappear, Sweden’s extensive forests become a nightmare for worried family and friends. Thankfully there are organisations that help.
Kennedy Automation are proud sponsors of Missing People Sweden, a volunteer organisation providing organised searches around Sweden.
